DMX devices are connected in series. If the DMX output of the last device in the link is not terminated signal reflections will occur and can massively distort the DMX signal transmission.
A CIT 3 DMX terminator (3-pin connector) and a CIT 5 DMX terminator (5-pin connector, 3-pins assigned) effectively terminate the DMX line, thereby securing the optimal functioning of the DMX installation. Our CIT set terminating resistors made by NEUTRIK are encased in black metal housings.
