Cordial insert cables are used for looping into the mixing console, for example, to loop a channel through an external effects unit. The stereo plug is plugged into the ISR socket of the mixing console. The black/grey mono plug is used for the connection to the effect device (send), the red plug for the way back from the effect device (return).
