Just after the market launch of the PVC-free, recyclable instrument cable ECOHEMP, Cordial received the following notification: "the Rat für Formgebung (German Design Council) awards Cordial the following accolade for outstanding innovative achievement: >>GOLD<< for ECOHEMP in the category "Excellence in Business to Consumer - Entertainment Electronics."

The ceremonial presentation of the German Innovation Award in Gold for ECOHEMP took place on May 23, 2023. The prestigious award for the ECOHEMP series was presented to Stefan Felbermeir (Cordial Product Manager) and Tim Franke (Cordial Marketing), representing the entire CORDIAL team, at the Futurium in Berlin.

This award represents the great recognition bestowed on the CORDIAL company by the council’s membership of currently more than 350 companies. It shows how extremely important sustainability in combination with the highest quality is in all areas - also and especially in the event and music sector.

And it also shows that we are on the right and fitting track with our ECOCORD product line and the ECOHEMP product series when it comes to the environment, events and music in general. A great motivation for further steps to come.

Quote: "The German Innovation Award honors products, technologies and services that break new, innovative ground and offer solutions that stand out due to their added value for users and the environment....".

In 2023 the award was once again able to draw a great response with 650 submissions from 22 countries. A total of 20 products/projects were awarded "Gold."" "The jury usually selects one "Gold" award winner or winner per category for groundbreaking achievements within an industry or discipline/subject."

The evaluation criteria are the levels of innovation, user benefits and economic viability. The innovation strategy should take into account aspects such as social, ecological and economic sustainability as well as the environmentally-friendly use of energy and resources."

In other words, all criteria that are met by ECOHEMP.
