On October 30, 2025, CORDIAL was awarded the Bavarian Resource Efficiency Award in Nuremberg – recognizing outstanding achievements in sustainable product development and resource efficiency. The award was presented to Product Manager Product Manager Stefan Felbermeir (accompanied by CORDIAL Managing Director Wolfgang Schwarz and Head of Sales Korbinian Lauxen) by State Environment Minister Thorsten Glauber .
The award was presented for the first time in 2021 to honor Bavaria-based companies committed to the particularly responsible use on natural resources, taking on a pioneering role in sustainability.
By introducing the ECOCORD series, CORDIAL sets a clear example for resource conservation and innovation within the music and event industry. All cables within this range are entirely PVC-free. Instead, CORDIAL uses TPE-V – a resource-saving, energy-efficient material that is free of plasticizers, heavy metals, and halogens and can be easily recycled. The ECOHEMP variant goes one step further: it is additionally coated by a fabric made of 100% recyclable hemp fibers.
TPE-V not only offers ecological advantages, but also impresses through its remarkable durability and technical performance. This was also confirmed by the expert jury, which honored CORDIAL for being a “pioneer in the music and event industry”—a company demonstrating that sustainability and top quality are not mutually exclusive, but rather complement each other perfectly.
