Our CMD 16 is a robust and, nevertheless, highly flexible, easily reelable DMX multicore and offers 16 channels for the transmission of lighting DMX and audio signals.
32 tinned copper conductors are twisted together into 16 pairs. Each pair is shielded by a spiral shield in combination with a braid of tinned copper wires (double shielding = spiral shielding plus braided shielding). Its jacket consists of polyvinyl chloride (PVC). The combination of all these components results in superb protection against indoor and outdoor interferences and, at the same time, outstanding transmission properties.
Due to its characteristic impedance of 110 Ω, the DMX multicore cable conforms with AES/EBU standards.
